UM Skid Plates have been proven to withstand the brutal conditions found in both desert and woods racing. Made from high quality 3/16 inch (.190 cm) thick T-5052 aircraft aluminum. A second plate has been added to the contact areas giving you maximum protection with 3/8 inch thickness. The rear skid plate protects the sprocket, chain, and rear brake rotor from rocks and other damaging objects that may cut your day of riding short.
