Of course the Type 296 also exceeds US Department of Forestry standards and features specially engineered internal metal baffle, chambers, and sound absorbing materials for muffled exhaust sound and no loss of motor performance. The legal muffler system will meet the 96dB sound level set by the forestry service, which makes it completely spark arrestor legal and again quiet enough to meet Forestry standards.
